The Salife-Xitole Ecological Corridor, located southwest of Guinea-Bissau in the Bafatá Region and covers an area of 36 162 hectares along the north bank of the Polon River. It connects Cufada and Dulombi National Parks.

The corridor includes three important watershed areas (Corubal, Gêba and Gambia), several primate species: baboons, green monkeys, patas , chimpanzees and black and white colobus (Colobus polychromos). Other important fauna include Nile crocodile , hippopotamus , elephants and wild dogs (Lycaon pictus).
